Privacy
The Brotherhood Club LLC operates this website. This page explains the website and registration process. Before entering student information, a parent or legal guardian must also review and acknowledge the current notice shown inside registration.
Registration and access
Application access is currently restricted. Public account creation is not available. Current private application testing is for fictional information only. An adult uses their own account and email address; Brothers do not create child accounts. Email verification confirms access to that email address, not legal guardianship. This application does not provide access to existing school records or another family’s information.
Information requested
The application asks for parent or guardian contact information; the Brother’s name, grade and teacher; permissions; typed full-name signatures and dates; and optional volunteer interest. New Brothers also provide an essay and agree to the application requirements. Returning Brothers complete a recommitment without an essay or teacher recommendation.
The current private test accepts typed essays. Private essay uploads are not currently enabled. Teacher recommendations are handled separately on paper.
Please do not include medical information, birth dates, home addresses, identification numbers, photographs, or videos in essay responses. The initial application does not request emergency contacts, pickup arrangements or media permissions.
How registration information is used
Registration information supports processing applications, communicating with the parent or guardian, and club administration. Saved drafts and submissions are stored by the registration service. The service also records the applicable notice and form versions, privacy acknowledgments and timestamps, and preserves a submitted application record. The site uses Cloudflare for hosting and Supabase for account authentication and application storage.
Consent and school records
Registration privacy consent is separate from permission to share education records under FERPA. Submitting this application does not authorize release of school records. Any required education-record authorization must be handled separately.
Retention
The club’s intended maximum retention period for application information is up to 13 months. The start date and deletion process are still being finalized before public application collection opens. An access-expiration date is not confirmation that stored information has been deleted.
Using a shared device
Save your draft, then sign out. Application answers and sign-in tokens are not saved in this app’s browser storage. Unsaved changes are lost when you reload or close the app. A saved draft can be retrieved after signing in again. The installed website may cache public interface files for loading and updates; application responses and private documents are not part of that cache.
